Weekly Astrology Update: February 23 - March 1, 2026
Overview
Week of February 23-March 1, 2026:
We are now in the middle of eclipse season. Last week brought the Annular Solar Eclipse at 28° Aquarius, and next week we move toward a Total Lunar Eclipse at 12° Virgo.
The atmosphere feels transitional, shifting between collective awareness and more personal adjustment. For some of us, certain situations may appear unclear, especially with Neptune at 0° Aries, a critical degree, and with the Sun and Mercury in Pisces.
Mercury turns retrograde on February 26, moving back from 22° Pisces toward 8° Pisces, where it will station direct on March 20. With Jupiter still retrograde in Cancer until March 11, the only retrograde planets now are in water signs, emphasizing emotional processing, memory, and inner reflection rather than external speed.
The Sun has recently left Aquarius and entered Pisces, marking a shift from collective vision and intellectual distance into empathy, intuition, and symbolic awareness.
Mars moves through the final degrees of Aquarius, forming a square to Uranus on February 27. This aspect can correlate with impulsive dynamics, sudden reactions, or the urge to break free from constraints.
On March 1, Mars also crosses the degree of the recent Solar Eclipse, potentially reactivating themes that emerged around that time.
Chiron conjunct Ceres at 23° Aries highlights themes of healing through action, personal courage, and the need to protect or nurture emerging identity. Saturn’s recent conjunction with Neptune continues to resonate as a major alignment where structure meets vision and boundaries blur with ideals.
Throughout the week, the Moon travels through Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, and Leo, gradually shifting the emotional tone from stability and grounding toward expression, warmth, and visibility.
